Alessia DeLuca returns home after years abroad, widowed and pregnant, to attend her brother Enzo's engagement party. A misunderstanding occurs when Caroline, the bride-to-be's mother, mistakes Alessia for Enzo's mistress. Sophie, the bride, storms into Enzo's mansion and physically confronts Alessia.
